Chronique de l’ombre : Négocier avec le Surmoi

« Dans cette chronique, l’auteur réalise une macro-analyse psychique. Il projette la structure de l’appareil psychique (Ça, Moi, Surmoi) sur la scène mondiale et québécoise. L’humanité est vue comme un individu unique dont les dirigeants sont les fonctions. En identifiant Netanyahu (Israël) au Ça (l’enfant blessé) et Poutine au Surmoi (l’idéal de structure), il explique les conflits non comme des accidents politiques, mais comme des négociations internes mal gérées. Au Québec, il dénonce la « mauvaise foi » qui utilise l’idéal (QS) pour générer de la terreur et de la domination. Pour l’auteur, la maturité politique consiste à passer de la manipulation (la carotte et le bâton) au réalisme : un contrat de bonne foi où le Surmoi ne castre plus le Moi, mais collabore à l’amélioration de la vie. C’est le fondement de son plan de paix : soigner l’enfant blessé (le Ça) pour qu’il cesse de saboter le Moi social. »

Un vrai titre, pas moins prétentieux pour autant.

Géopolitique mondiale : je déterminais Vladimir Poutine comme le Surmoi. Je voyais son idéal personnel et d’État correspondre au plan de paix mondial, décrit ici quelquefois sous ce terme, d’autres sous celui de « Nouvel Ordre mondial », en le distinguant de l’ordre préjugé.

De la même manière, j’en arrivais à illustrer le Moi en Donald Trump. Cela ne demande aucune explication.

Quelque part, je pourrais me retrouver dans le Ça avec la nomenclature de mes blessures. Pour garder cette référence politique, j’identifierais Benjamin Netanyahu comme le Ça. Je dirais qu’il est le représentant du « Peuple choisi », celui qui a vécu l’Holocauste et qui est accablé de préjugés avec un fardeau d’esclavage hérité de l’Égypte antique. Le Ça : l’enfant blessé de l’humanité.

Avouons qu’on peut y voir un seul et même homme avec ses contradictions, comme si l’humanité n’était qu’un seul être humain. Me suivez-vous ? L’humanité forme un corps et sa personnalité peut se comprendre comme celle de tout être humain. Une nouvelle illustration pour répéter une même vision.

Une manière primaire de négocier avec le Surmoi serait de le contraindre ou de le manipuler : « Tu veux ceci, tu dois faire cela. » De mauvaise foi, c’est le principe de la carotte au bout du bâton. À chaque fois, une nouvelle étape s’ajoute et le manège continue : « C’est Gaza, c’est l’Iran, c’est la Chine ou je ne sais qui. »

Ainsi, je me suis imaginé une façon d’illustrer cela au Québec.

QS (Québec solidaire) est porteur d’une société idéale. La CAQ ou le PLQ seraient le Moi, alors que le PQ serait le Ça, le représentant du peuple « enfant blessé ». Jusque-là, ça va.

De mauvaise foi, il me faudrait infiltrer QS, représentant de l’idéal social. Chaque citoyen ou citoyenne serait tenté, évidemment. Avec le temps, on verrait de plus en plus les courants chercher à prendre le pouvoir sur cet idéal. Des hommes auraient leur vision, des femmes la leur, des personnes différentes également. Toujours de mauvaise foi, je chercherais à soumettre les membres et leurs représentants. Disons-le : la peur irradie de ce parti politique. À l’intérieur, je ne peux qu’y projeter une peur, une terreur même.

De bonne foi, le pouvoir importe peu. Ce qui compterait, me semble-t-il, c’est de proposer des solutions qui améliorent la qualité de la vie humaine. Cela ne se fait pas en criant et en intimidant sur les réseaux sociaux, ni par des menaces de viol. La négociation avec le Surmoi vise un compromis entre l’idéal et la faisabilité : un réalisme. L’étape de la domination est dépassée. La castration de l’autre n’a plus de sens.

A real title, though no less pretentious for all that.

Global geopolitics: I defined Vladimir Putin as the Superego. I saw his personal and State ideal corresponding to the global peace plan, described here sometimes under that term, and at others as the « New World Order, » distinguishing it from the prejudiced order.

In the same way, I came to illustrate the Ego in Donald Trump. This requires no explanation.

Somewhere, I could find myself in the Id (le Ça) with the nomenclature of my wounds. To maintain this political reference, I would identify Benjamin Netanyahu as the Id. I would say he is the representative of the « Chosen People, » the one who experienced the Holocaust and is overwhelmed by prejudices with a burden of slavery inherited from ancient Egypt. The Id: the wounded child of humanity.

Admittedly, one can see in this a single man with his contradictions, as if humanity were but a single human being. Do you follow me? Humanity forms a body, and its personality can be understood like the personality of any human being. A new illustration to repeat the same vision.

A primary way to negotiate with the Superego would be to constrain or manipulate it: « You want this, you must do that. » In bad faith, it is the principle of the carrot at the end of the stick. Each time, a new step is added and the merry-go-round continues: « It’s Gaza, it’s Iran, it’s China, or whoever. »

Thus, I imagined a way to illustrate this in Quebec.

QS (Québec solidaire) is the bearer of an ideal society. The CAQ or the PLQ would be the Ego, while the PQ would be the Id, the representative of the « wounded child » people. So far, so good.

In bad faith, I would have to infiltrate QS, the representative of the social ideal. Every citizen would be tempted, obviously. Over time, we would increasingly see factions seeking to take power over this ideal. Men would have their vision, women theirs, different people theirs as well. Still in bad faith, I would seek to subdue the members and their representatives. Let’s be honest: fear radiates from this political party. Inside, I can only project fear, even terror.

In good faith, power matters little. What would count, it seems to me, is proposing solutions that improve the quality of human life. This is not done by shouting and intimidating on social media, nor by threats of rape. Negotiating with the Superego aims for a compromise between the ideal and the feasible: realism. The stage of domination is over. The castration of the other no longer makes sense.
