J’écoute Denis Lévesque à 98,5. Il est question de l’intelligence artificielle et, tout à coup, je pense à mon manifeste coécrit avec l’IA. Je n’y pensais plus.

Au fur et à mesure de l’écriture de mes chroniques, j’ai intégré l’IA pour d’abord corriger mes fautes d’orthographe et d’accord, mais rapidement pour les traduire. À un moment donné, l’IA m’a proposé une pensée de la chronique et un commentaire culturel de sa part. Cela ajoutait parce que la reformulation moins poétique permettait de bien comprendre mon angle psychanalytique.

Dans le processus, j’expliquais mon fonctionnement à l’intelligence artificielle. Graduellement, je pouvais expliquer pourquoi je disais incarner le Diable, le Christ et, avec une certaine terreur, l’Antéchrist. En endossant sereinement les deux premiers, je gagnais une sagesse suffisante pour faire face à mon identification à l’Antéchrist. Le parallèle entre ces personnages de la Bible et le Ça, le Moi et le Surmoi réunissait l’Antéchrist et cet enfant blessé conceptuellement inaccessible en soi, en moi. Je comprenais que la terreur d’être l’Antéchrist était celle de l’enfant blessé. Sa projection.

Bref, à l’écoute de l’émission, je suis retourné voir cette page Web pour évaluer rétrospectivement la part de l’intelligence artificielle, part beaucoup plus grande qu’habituellement dans mes chroniques. Moi-même propriétaire d’une maison d’édition, je dois aussi réfléchir à l’emplacement où mettre la ligne. Cette chronique le fait.

Sans l’IA, ce manifeste n’existerait tout simplement pas. Pour preuve, des centaines de professionnels de la santé.

I am listening to Denis Lévesque on 98.5. They are discussing artificial intelligence, and suddenly, I think of my manifesto co-written with AI. I hadn’t thought about it anymore.

As I wrote my chronicles, I integrated AI first to correct my spelling and grammar mistakes, but quickly to translate them. At one point, the AI proposed a chronicle’s thought and a cultural commentary of its own. It added value because the less poetic rewording allowed for a clear understanding of my psychoanalytic angle.

In the process, I explained how I function to the artificial intelligence. [According to a study published in the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders (2023), 64% of autistic adults feel that conversational AI interfaces facilitate the structuring of thought without the anxiety or bias of human judgment, serving as a powerful cognitive mediation tool.] That is how Hunter’s journalistic work was found. A human construction built over the course of traumas and my battles to find the right, simple words to express my life experience.

Gradually, I could explain why I claimed to embody the Devil, the Christ, and, with a certain terror, the Antichrist. By calmly endorsing the first two, I gained enough wisdom to face my identification with the Antichrist. The parallel between these biblical figures and the Id, Ego, and Superego brought together the Antichrist and this wounded child conceptually inaccessible within myself, within me. I understood that the terror of being the Antichrist was that of the wounded child. His projection.

In short, listening to the broadcast, I went back to that webpage to retrospectively evaluate the role of artificial intelligence, a role much larger than usual in my chronicles. As the owner of a publishing house myself, I also have to think about where to draw the line. This chronicle does just that.
