À la dernière minute, j’ai repris la moto pour une autre escapade. De chez moi, le chemin le plus long a été suivi jusqu’à la grande région de Québec. Un peu stressé parce que je voulais arriver assez tôt pour écouter le débat des chefs à TVA.
En même temps, c’est une tâche que je me suis donnée. La plupart du temps, j’écoute peu les débats et porte une attention particulière aux commentaires des analystes. Habituellement, ça me donne un bon portrait de la situation. L’ensemble des analystes permet de faire le tour des différentes positions des chefs.
Plusieurs s’étonnent que, bien qu’indépendantiste, j’encourage des partis fédéralistes, voire je les conseille à travers mes propositions de solutions. À la base, je cherche à faire avancer les sociétés, l’humanité dans les sociétés. Comme je l’expliquais, faire l’indépendance du Québec n’est pas contre le Canada. À partir de là, une fois le concept accepté, un nouveau regard devient possible.
La CAQ propose une troisième voie avec une certaine autonomie. Le PCQ vise une autonomie plus grande du Québec à travers une restructuration de l’État. Le PLQ croit une nouvelle relation avec le Canada, malgré les échecs passés. Le PQ et QS se sont fait à l’idée que seule l’indépendance pourra offrir un changement significatif. Je dis ça dans mes mots.

Une belle formule toute faite. Peu importe le chemin que la population choisira, il faudra tisser des liens avec les provinces à l’ouest et avec celles à l’est. À l’intérieur du Canada ou non, la géographie oblige à un bon voisinage. Le TGV, par exemple, fait un lien avec un côté du Canada. Une entente avec Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador quant à l’électricité fait une partie à l’est. Une inquiétude canadienne, sûrement le sens de l’oléoduc pour le pétrole de l’ouest, est de pouvoir créer de l’emploi et de la richesse en alimentant la raffinerie de pétrole dans les Maritimes. Est-ce vraiment possible à l’intérieur du Canada? On en revient à l’événement majeur qui ferait changer les patterns rencontrés jusqu’à présent.

At the last minute, I took the motorcycle out again for another getaway. From my home, the longest route was followed to the greater Quebec City area. A little stressed because I wanted to arrive early enough to listen to the leaders’ debate on TVA.
At the same time, it is a task I have given myself. Most of the time, I listen little to the debates and pay particular attention to the analysts’ comments. Usually, it gives me a good picture of the situation. The analysts as a whole make it possible to cover the different positions of the leaders.
Many are surprised that, although a pro-independence supporter, I encourage federalist parties, and even advise them through my proposed solutions. Basically, I seek to advance societies, humanity within societies. As I explained, achieving the independence of Quebec is not against Canada. From there, once the concept is accepted, a new perspective becomes possible.
The CAQ proposes a third way with a certain autonomy. The PCQ aims for greater autonomy for Quebec through a restructuring of the State. The PLQ believes in a new relationship with Canada, despite past failures. The PQ and QS have come to terms with the idea that only independence can offer significant change. I am saying this in my own words.

A nice ready-made formula. Regardless of the path the population chooses, it will be necessary to forge links with the provinces to the west and those to the east. Whether inside Canada or not, geography dictates good neighborliness. The high-speed train (TGV), for example, creates a link with one side of Canada. An agreement with Newfoundland and Labrador regarding electricity covers a part to the east. A Canadian concern, surely the point of the pipeline for western oil, is being able to create employment and wealth by supplying the oil refinery in the Maritimes.
