Mon premier réflexe a été de reconnaître une similitude entre mon langage et la poésie, mais sans le respect des règles que j’associais ou qu’on enseignait à l’école. Cette négation de bonne foi m’a laissé un vide pendant des dizaines d’années.

L’expression des images et des émotions passe plus aisément par la poésie. On y retrouve le symbole attendu. Le lecteur cherche activement le sens des mots. Il y a une forme de méditation spontanée qui s’active lorsqu’on la lit, cette poésie.

Tout se passe là, dans la transmission du symbolique. Par elle et en elle, j’incarne une réalité inaccessible autrement. L’indicible et l’abstrait se révèlent. Des formules mathématiques en mots.

La semaine dernière, nous faisions la lecture de ma veste de motard. Une lecture poétique. Ma veste transmet mon univers. Je fais de mes gens et de mon armée de poètes et de poétesses. Sans doute que cela étonne le non-averti, mais il ne s’agit que d’une révélation, pas d’une nouveauté.

Comme moi, ces rockers voyaient des similitudes avec la poésie, mais le caractère cru, probablement, les empêchait de le reconnaître.
